Daily Dictation 13
Southeastern mosquitos, ... in the United States.
→ xxx mosquitos are native to the xxx, but now they have spread in xxx, ... in the United States.
→ Ancient Tiger mosquitos are native to ... Asia, and past few years they've spread corus , but nowadays they southeastern U.S.
→ Ancient Tiger mosquitos are native to the tropics souteastern Asia, but past few years they've spread the corus to the southeastern U.S.
批改:
Ancient 【Asian】 Tiger mosquitos are native to the tropics 【of】 souteastern 【Southeast】 Asia, but 【in the】 past few years they've spread the corus 【all across】 to the southeastern U.S.
- 句子太长,第一遍的时候就有些小着急,以至于没能把握句子主干;
- 将 Ancient 听成了 Asian,由于 tiger 也是 t 开头的,因此如果是 ancient 读音上与 Asian 基本是相同的,ancient 中的 t 会不发音。如果知道这个品种的蚊子就不会错了;
- 单词储备上,tropics 不认识,是蒙对的,因此我以为它是形容词,没听到也没想到要加上 of;
- 语法上,in the past few years 是常见的搭配,而 past few years 是不会单独用的,要在前面加上介词,这属于是低级错误;不过因为语法原因也让我想到了要在 they 和 spread 间加上完成时 have;
Asian Tiger mosquitos are native to the tropics of southeast Asia,but in the past few years, they've spread all across to the southeastern U.S.
be native to → 是...
- For example, Coach Shane is native to Wisconson, but now he lived in South Korea.
but in the past few → bud'in'nuh pas'few

Daily Dictation 14
The cats have 9 lives, but they probably want to spend at least 1 life here in the New York city.
→ The cats repeatively have 9 lives, but they clearly want to spend at least one of them here in the New York city.
批改:
The cats repeatively 【reputedly】 have 9 lives, but they 【and he】 clearly want 【wanted】 to spend at least one of them here in the New York city.
- 单词储备,不认识 reputedly;
- 听力上,我总觉得开头是有一个 The 的,因为我听到了他的咬舌音;
Cats reputedly have 9 lives, and he clearly wanted to spend at least one of them here in New York City.
reputedly → seems to "supposedly" or "somebody told me that..." or "There's a rumor that..." ;据说
clearly → equals to "absolutely" or "without a doubt" or "there's no question",
wanted to → wan'ed (to 的音因为 want-ed 末尾的 ed 读音相同而省略了)
at least → a'least
one of them → one'o'them
